How salary information works

Salary pages show the median and a range from the 10th to the 90th percentile for a job title in a country.

Every salary page states its data source, sample size and collection date. Figures currently shown are sample data created for demonstration and are not real market statistics. When a licensed dataset is connected, the source label will change.

If we don't have reliable data for a title or location, we say so rather than guessing.
