Position Overview
Prollenium Medical Technologies Inc. is a Canadian medical aesthetics company specializing in the development, manufacturing and distribution of aesthetic medical products, including hyaluronic acid dermal fillers.
The proposed Chief Medical Officer position is intended to provide senior medical leadership across clinical strategy, medical governance, scientific development and healthcare innovation. The successful executive will work alongside senior leadership to strengthen clinical standards, support product innovation, advance medical education and contribute to the organization's long-term strategic direction.
This position calls for an experienced physician with a strong understanding of specialist medicine, aesthetic clinical practice and medical leadership. The ideal candidate will bring the ability to connect clinical excellence with organizational strategy, professional collaboration and responsible business development.
Key Responsibilities
Provide executive medical leadership and establish clinical priorities aligned with organizational objectives.
Develop and oversee medical governance frameworks, clinical quality standards and patient safety initiatives.
Advise executive leadership on emerging developments in aesthetic medicine, injectable treatments and medical technologies.
Provide medical oversight and clinical guidance for product development, evaluation and innovation initiatives.
Build relationships with physicians, aesthetic practitioners, medical institutions and clinical opinion leaders.
Direct medical education initiatives, practitioner development programs and evidence-based clinical training.
Support clinical research collaborations, scientific publications and medical evidence development.
Advise on regulatory considerations, clinical standards and medical compliance across relevant markets.
Contribute to executive planning, strategic partnerships and long-term organizational growth.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Medical degree (MD) with substantial postgraduate clinical experience.
Extensive experience in specialist medicine, anesthesiology, aesthetic medicine or related clinical disciplines.
Demonstrated experience in senior medical leadership, clinical governance or healthcare management.
Strong knowledge of patient safety, medical risk management and evidence-based clinical practice.
Proven ability to translate clinical expertise into organizational and strategic outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
PhD, fellowship or additional postgraduate qualifications in a relevant medical discipline.
Previous experience as a Chief Medical Officer, Medical Director, clinical founder or senior medical executive.
Experience within medical aesthetics, medical devices, pharmaceutical innovation or specialist healthcare.
Established professional relationships within medical and scientific communities.
Experience in international healthcare operations, strategic partnerships or medical business development.
