DIRECTOR OF SERVICES – MID-WEST, WEST & NORTH-WEST

Role overview:
This position involves providing strategic and operational leadership across regional disability services, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support for children and adults.
The successful candidate will oversee a substantial regional operation involving more than 600 employees and approximately 2,700 children and 150 adults receiving services.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and implement regional operational and strategic plans.
Oversee multiple disability-service locations and management teams.
Drive quality improvement, safeguarding and regulatory compliance.
Manage regional budgets, resources and operational performance.
Develop leadership capability and strengthen workforce performance.
Build partnerships with the HSE, families and community organisations.
Lead service development, innovation and organisational change.
Ensure consistent, person-centred service delivery.
Qualifications and experience:
The advertised requirements include a relevant degree in Clinical, Health or Social Sciences, or another related discipline, alongside substantial operational leadership experience, financial management capability and knowledge of disability services, HIQA requirements and HSE arrangements.
