A leading financial services organisation in Geneva is seeking an experienced Temenos Implementation Lead / Programme Manager to oversee a strategic core banking transformation programme.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the end-to-end implementation of Temenos Transact (T24) and associated banking platforms, ensuring that programme delivery is completed within agreed timelines, budgets and governance standards.
The role requires an experienced programme leader capable of coordinating business, technology, architecture, testing and external delivery teams while maintaining strong relationships with senior executives and key stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of Temenos Transact (T24) and associated banking platforms.
- Establish programme governance, delivery milestones, reporting structures and performance controls.
- Manage programme risks, dependencies, issues and escalations.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across business, technology, architecture, testing and external vendors.
- Engage senior stakeholders and business leaders to align strategic objectives and delivery expectations.
- Oversee solution design, implementation planning and migration activities.
- Manage go-live preparation, readiness assessments and implementation execution.
- Oversee programme budgets, resource allocation and delivery performance.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security requirements and internal governance standards.
- Lead steering committee meetings and provide executive-level programme updates.
Required qualifications and experience
- Proven experience leading large-scale Temenos Transact (T24) implementation or transformation programmes.
- Strong programme management experience within banking or financial services.
- Experience delivering core banking transformation, migration or upgrade initiatives.
- Strong executive stakeholder management and C-level communication skills.
- Understanding of banking operations, payments, lending, deposits and core banking processes.
- Experience coordinating international delivery teams and third-party vendors.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Strong leadership, communication and decision-making capabilities.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience in private banking, wealth management or retail banking.
- Temenos certifications.
- PMP, PRINCE2 or MSP programme management qualifications.
- Experience working with Swiss or European banking institutions.
